Location

Once on the A40 after Annemasse

After about 5 minutes you will pass through a toll (a car costs 1.70 euros)

After the toll look out for signs to ‘Portes du Soleil’ exit the motorway and after the traffic lights look out for a sign post for Morzine / Taninges / Filinges / Samoens. Turn off the road and go straight across at the rounabout.

Stay on this road for about 20 minutes and you will pass through various villages: Filinges, Ville en Sallaz, St Jeoire and Mieussy. When you get to Taninges follow the signs for Morzine / Avoriaz / Les Gets.

The road will start climbing and after about 10 minutes you will reach Les Gets. Keep on the main road and drive through following signs for Morzine / Avoriaz.

On entering Morzine follow signs for Avoriaz. (You will need to turn off right and follow the road that runs along side ‘Le Pleney’ D354 I think). You will pass the ESF ski school on your left. At the first roundabout go straight across and under the bridge.

At the next r’about take the 1st exit on the right. You will go round a hair pin bend, stay on this road and follow signs for Avoriaz Station. (D338 I think!)

When you get to the next r’about, take the 2nd exit signposted Avoriaz Station (don’t go to ‘Prodains’)

The road will start to climb again, after about half a mile look out for a chalet called Chalet Arnica on your right (there will be a yellow flowery sign post) after this chalet take the next drive way on your right sign posted ‘Les 4 Vents’.

You have arrived!! Come up the drive which will double back on it self, and park on the left hand side close to the chalet so that other cars can pass.

At the next r’about turn left and then at the next junction (one way system around the town hall) – follow the road round and take the 2nd right at the cross roads. You will go for about 200 metres and take a right hand turn up a hill just before the speed bump (suspension bridge on your left). The road bends to the right but then take a left turn towards a cluster of new apartments. Follow the road up and round the hairpin bend until you see a right hand turn near the top. Drive down this driveway and park outside the doors on the right…
