White water rafting
The River Dranse offers invigorating white water activities in grade 3 and 4 rapids along a 12 mile stretch. First the timers should try a 6 to 8 person larger raft to navigate the river with experienced river guides. The more experienced should try ‘hot dogging’ – inflatable Canadian Canoes which you control yourself. There is a river guide on hand to show you the way down in the safety of his kayak.
Hydro-speedingis an exhilarating alternative; you swim down the river with the help of a bogey board (large 2ft float) a 6 mm thick wetsuit, a life vest and a pair of flippers!!! Great fun!! All safety equipment and guides are available.
Canyoning
This is a mix of rock climbing and swimming. You start up near the waterfall at Nyon (Morzine) and abseil down into the river. For 3 hours you follow the course of the river back to Morzine using ropes, trees and rocks, jumping into deep pools in the river. All safety equipment and fully experienced guides are provided.

The pool is open everyday from 08.00 – 18.45 in July and August.
New to Morzine last winter is a fantastic indoor swimming pool – it has an adult, kids and baby pool along with a steam and sauna option. If you fancy something tropical then head to the new indoor AQUARIAZ.
